You Don’t Know What You’ve Got Until it’s Gone

I’m too excited not to tell you this first…I’m hosting an IN-PERSON event in Philly in early November. This one is geared toward retail automotive and capacity is very limited. Registration is opening this week. If you want to be first to know, register here

Now on to our regular programming…I changed my mind literally moments before I hit record on this week's episode. I was going to talk about a book, but instead decided to talk about all the things we so easily take for granted.

If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it's taught us that so many of the great things we enjoy in life can be removed suddenly and sometimes savagely. But the reality is the pandemic has just highlighted a core element of our human nature. The thinking that the “grass is always greener on the other side” and the discontentment that pesters our everyday thinking. After all, how could we POSSIBLY be discontent after spending hours scrolling everyone else’s “best life” on social media 🙄

I talk about a few things we can do together to appreciate what we have in a deeper way, because we just don’t know what’s going to happen next. I hope it gives you and your team some new-found perspective and CLARITY.
