Only Doctors and Lawyers Can “Practice”?
We put a lot of pressure on ourselves. At least I do. Pressure to be a good husband, father, business leader, content creator and on and on. But I found some CLARITY after a trip to Philly last week and subsequent conversation with some fellow leaders. Here it is:
Adopting the mindset of ‘practicing’ in this areas, just like a Doctor or Lawyer does in their vocation, helps take some of that pressure off.
This is a good thing because it frees us up to keep learning and growing. It reminds us that being a practitioner is a worth while and noble cause. We will never ‘arrive’ at perfection, but we will constantly improve if our focus is on practicing not pressure.
